A city of refuge A place that is safe God I will run To Your throne room To wait. Until Your presence is near Until Your voice is more clear Until You tell me What I’m doing here. I will take all my worry My belongings My control I will put them here, In this offering bowl, And surrender them to You. You always know what to do And when to do And how to do. You know, when I don’t I could fear, but I won’t. I refuse. Because You’re here, My city of refuge. I am safe in your shadow Here under your wing I will praise and pray And worship and sing I will listen for You, You always come through, My God, My Father, My City of Refuge. -Anna Williams
