Before Adam took
His first breath
God’s plans were laid.
Before the foundations
Of the world,
The Lamb of God
Was slain.
Jesus wasn’t plan B,
Or a reaction
To the sin of Adam and Eve,
As they ate from the tree.
No.
God saved us,
Before we ever fell.
Restored and redeemed
Our souls,
Wrote the plan
In Heavenly prose,
With a Holy hand
And a Loving heart.
